Nutrition 101

So you have been working hard for awhile now and you know you are doing the right thing by exercising, but those extra pounds are coming off or you still look the same. All the work you have been doing is not lost, but we do need to talk about nutrition. Eating the right foods at the right times will play a huge role in any type of body composition changes. For those of you who know me at all I am constantly reading and researching health  related news. Nutrition is one of those areas that I am very found of, mainly because what we have been told through out our life about what to eat and when to eat has no real evidence of actually working, as is evident by the growing level of obesity in America.

In the next week I plan on highlighting some of the key concept that we as a box should be using to maximize our gains in the gym and on the scale. We will discuss the different macro nutrients, timing of meals, size and make up and some common things to avoid doing so that you can not only look good but perform well.
